Are You New Here?
Whether you’re full of questions or ready to jump right in, there’s a place for you at The River Dream Centre. Led by Pastors Michael and Marion Meyers, The River is a dynamic church that meets you right where you’re at. Join us this weekend for one of our engaging services.
Who are your Pastors?
Meet our Senior Pastors and Leaders and see how as a team they serve and lead at the River Dream Centre.
What are your service times?
Our service is onĀ Sunday at 11am. We recommend you arrived 15 minutes before hand to park, organise the kids and get your seat so that we can start together on time with great strength.
How do I get to the River?
Getting to The River is easy, just follow the directions on Google Maps. Parking garages around us are clearly marked, including the fees charged, and with a choice of 4 nearby car parks you can worship with peace of mind. Please remember not to break the parking rules around our church as wardens will fine and in some cases clamp your car. If you need any directions our parking attendant outside the church building will be happy to help and direct you.
What can I expect on my first visit?
From the moment you arrive at The River Dream Centre, we hope you feel at home and will be envisioned, empowered and ministered to. Upon your arrival our greeters will be poised to welcome you and be ready to answer any questions you may have. You’ll also get our information-filled brochure for the week. Our Sunday morning services are especially geared towards those who have children aged 3-12 years old, and as such you’ll want to take advantage of our safe and secure children’s services designed just for them. Then be prepared to be equipped in the Word, empowered in the Spirit, and released to do what God has called you to!
P.S. Young adults, 13-18 years old, will be thoroughly engaged in any of our main services together with all our other young adults and on Friday nights they are most welcome to be a part of The River Youth led by our university pastor.

What are the River’s purposes and beliefs?
We believe our over-arching and all encompassing purpose is to increase in the love of God and our neighbour.
What is the history of The River Dream Centre?
Birthed in revival in 1928 by the founding father of Elim Pentecostal Churches, George Jefferies, The River Dream Centre continues to be a dynamic, cutting edge church. Firmly placed in the city centre of Exeter we take that cue to minister into the heart of our community, whether it’s children; school, college or university students; young professionals; mums and dads or those enjoying the latter years of their life!
How do I become a member?
We suggest that you get involved in the life of our church and when you are ready to increase the level of your commitment to The River family then join in with one of our Membership Sundays. You can get more information at our information desk.
