Service Times

A typical Sunday Service goes like this
11:00am Praise, with our worship team
11:30am Meet and Greet, followed by announcements
11:50am Keynote Message, from Pastor Michael
12:30pm Prayer
12:45pm Refreshments

Our Sunday service is at 11:00am, and normally finishes around 12:45pm. We’d love for you to stay after the service to get to know us over some refreshments. More than just a building, the church is God’s people and family and as such we make provision to minister to the whole family.

Each Sunday we gather around our five loves, which are:

1. to praise and worship God,
2. to study the Word,
3. to give,
4. to be in the presence of the Holy Spirit,
5. and to win souls to Christ.

Every first Sunday of the month we have what the River calls our ‘happy meal’ – communion and remembering the sacrifice Jesus made for us all.

For the children

River Kids, which is our children’s church for 3 – 12 year olds, runs every Sunday during the main service. Whilst the adults are in the main service, our children are ministered to at their level with a world-class children’s program which includes:

• Kid’s praise and worship
• Puppets, games and crafts
• Fun illustrated sermons and stories
• Video and music
• Memory scriptures – River style!

For the teens

For our 12 – 18 year olds, River Youth runs on Friday evenings with the same powerful ministry as on Sunday but in their langauge and relevant to the challenges that they face.

River Youth meet on the first and third Fridays of every month, from 6:30pm to 8pm. The River Youth Pastors name is Rob Sharp, and he can be contacted at our church offices on 01392 425070.
