River Kids
When someone asks what the most important department in our church is, it’s easy to say the Worship Team or the Ushers, because you see them every Sunday – but as Pastor Michael says, the most important department in our church is the Children’s Church.
Every week, through fun, games, illustrated teaching, videos and puppets, we are doing something incredible – we are training the future of our church and the future of our faith by helping our children become all that they can be and have for themselves a very real and powerful relationship with Jesus.
To get involved with Children’s Church, we’re not only looking for those who can be teachers, but also those who have the ability to come in and engage our children on a regular basis – perhaps you can teach some drama, or do puppets, or are good at telling stories, or can teach them a magic trick or even how to do keepie-uppies with a football. If you have a gifting that can help our children, then we invite you to come and invest in the future with us.
